Psychiatric treatment

Child and adolescent psychiatric treatment includes a wide range of diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, trauma (PTSD, developmental trauma, attachment issues, intergenerational trauma), ADHD and psychosomatic problems.

At first, an assessment is made as to whether I can help you. In an assessment interview, we taking into account psychological / psychiatric, physical symptoms and your social context.

After we made an agreement to start a treatment, we make together with both the child and caregiver a treatment plan that we can evaluate and adjust if necessary.


Medication 
Lifestyle, such as good sleep, healthy eating and enough exercise , have a very big effect on our well-being. Various scientific studies show that this can be just as effective as medication. A psychiatric treatment is therefore never based solely on medication. We look at what is needed in its entirety and what is right for you at the moment.
